This process is called dry clean because it has very little or no water at all, now you are wondering how they clean my clothes without water. Water molecules are the best cleaning agent which penetrates in the fiber easily to clean. Dry cleaning process uses the solvent fluid, it has the ability to remove dirt, soil, stain and dissolve grease and oil from the garment, which water cannot do it. Natural materials like wool and silk get the best result when it is dry clean, on the other hand it could distort, shrink, or lose color when it washed in water. The dry-cleaning process begins with the pretreatment of spots and stains using special cleaning agents. The garments are then loaded into a machine similar to an oversized front-loading home washer. It produces similar mechanical action to loosen embedded dirt. Throughout the cleaning process, the fluid is filtered or distilled to ensure its clarity. Distillation is the key to dry cleaning.
